Sanjeev
Srinivas

Final-year CS student at Amrita, reading Data Science at IIT Madras alongside it. I build backend systems — a social network that federates across servers it doesn't control, a deepfake detector that watches motion instead of pixels, and a race telemetry pit wall that keeps every view on one clock.

Splitter

A social network with no centre — independent servers that talk to each other over ActivityPub.

Why GoOne post fans out to hundreds of signed deliveries — goroutines keep that a for-loop.
Hardest bugDigest header hashed after re-serialising the JSON, so every signature mismatched.

Physics-Based Deepfake Detection

Most detectors hunt for visual artifacts. This one looks at whether the face moves like a real face.

A pit wall in the browser — track map, driver deltas and flag periods, all on one session clock.

Noughts & Crosses

Deliberately minimal — server-side game state, and a client that ships no JavaScript.

Sitting Duck

I spent a while researching a domain-hijack class called Sitting Duck. The setup is that a parent zone still delegates a domain to nameservers that no longer serve it — the delegation is live, the zone behind it is gone.

If someone can claim that nameserver at the provider, they inherit authority over the domain without ever touching the registrar or the owner's account. The uncomfortable part is how normal the domain looks from the outside while it's exposed.

Not published — a research project I did on my own, and the reason the tool on the right exists.

Try it — inspect any domain's delegation

Try

Reads public DNS over Cloudflare's resolver. It reports what a recursive resolver can see from outside — a real audit would query each nameserver directly.

Get in touch

Let's build
something real.

Open to internships, research collaborations, and problems that need a system rather than a script. If you have something hard to build, I'd like to hear about it.

Projects by Sanjeev Srinivas S

Splitter — Federated social platform

A decentralised social network in Go and Next.js that federates across independently-hosted instances — users on different servers share one social graph without sharing one owner. ActivityPub with HTTP Signature verification, DID authentication, and end-to-end encrypted DMs.

Built with Go, Next.js, ActivityPub, PostgreSQL, Redis, DID Auth.

Physics-Based Deepfake Detection — Biomechanical forensics

A deepfake detector that analyses biomechanical motion rather than visual artifacts — 478-point 3D facial landmarks per frame via MediaPipe, then chin-velocity jitter, saccade timing and micro-tremor. Vertex AI Gemini reasons over those features, and an offline physics-heuristic mode takes over with zero code changes.

Built with Python, MediaPipe, Vertex AI, GCP, Firebase, FastAPI.

F1 Telemetry Dashboard — Pit-wall race analytics

A "pit wall"-style Formula 1 dashboard. A FastAPI backend pulls live and historical session data through FastF1; a Next.js frontend renders a per-circuit track map, driver deltas and flag periods — all synced to one shared session clock.

Built with Python, FastAPI, FastF1, Next.js, Plotly, Redis.

Quiz Master v2 — Full-stack coursework, done properly

A quiz platform built for the IIT Madras Modern Application Development II course — auth, admin quiz authoring, timed sessions and analytics, on a Vue.js and Flask stack.

Built with Python, Flask, Vue.js, SQLite, Celery, Redis.

Noughts & Crosses — The smallest full-stack thing

Tic-tac-toe served by FastAPI with a plain HTML and CSS frontend — two-player, all game state server-side. A deliberate baseline: the simplest architecture that is still honestly full-stack.

Built with Python, FastAPI, HTML, CSS, Uvicorn.
